An acclaimed recording artist, author, and teacher, Black Rock native David Coe has been writing and performing music his entire life. For the past 25 years, David has guided countless aspiring musicians of all ages and experience levels, both as a private instructor on guitar, piano, and ukulele, and as a member of the faculty at Fairfield University and the Unquowa School. Aside from unparalleled technical expertise, David’s unique background offers his students insight into all corners of the world of music. He has authored three instructional books, composed original music for television and film both domestically and internationally, played every room from Toad’s Place to Radio City Music Hall, and has shared the stage with the likes of Elton John, the Temptations, and James Brown.
